HOW IT ALL STARTED
I came for the sun. I stayed for the life.
I’m Klaasje van Seggelen, and altogether I have now lived in Spain for 16 years. I originally came here for the climate, but in the end it was the relaxed lifestyle, the hospitality, the nature and the outdoor way of life that made Spain feel like home time and again.
Over the years, I have come to know Spain from different perspectives. Not only as a resident, but also as a business owner and later as a real estate agent. This means I know from personal experience what is involved in living, working and buying a property in Spain.
With 12 years of experience in the Spanish property market, I also know the practical side of buying a home here very well. A different language, different rules, the NIE number, the notary, taxes and everything that needs to be arranged before those keys are finally in your hand. I know how reassuring it is to have someone by your side who keeps an overview of the entire process and knows which steps need to be taken and when.
That combination of living and working in Spain is at the heart of VidaSol. I like to take the time to show my clients not only a property, but also the surrounding area and the lifestyle that comes with it. Because ultimately, it’s not just about where you want to live, but above all, how you want to live.

A proper conversation first
Every search starts with a proper conversation. Of course we discuss what you are looking for, but above all why. Are you after a second home, do you want to move permanently, or are you looking for a worthwhile investment? It is precisely the reason behind your search that usually determines which property and which area suit you best. That is why we take our time over it.
We select, and explain why
You will not receive an endless list of properties, but a carefully chosen selection that matches your wishes and your budget. For each property I explain why I selected it and give you my honest opinion. If I see points of concern, or if I think a property does not suit you after all, I say so. That saves time, avoids disappointment and means we can search purposefully for the right home.
You fly, we drive with you
Once you are in Spain, I make sure your viewing days run as relaxed and efficiently as possible. I pick you up, or we meet somewhere central, and I take the entire planning off your hands. Along the way we look not only at the properties but also let you experience the surroundings. We drive through different neighbourhoods, stop wherever you like, and I introduce you to the places where you might soon be living or spending your holidays. Because in the end you are not only buying a house, but a new place to live.
From offer to key
Throughout the whole purchase I work together with an independent lawyer and other reliable specialists. From applying for the NIE number and the legal checks to completion at the notary: everything is arranged carefully and coordinated. You do not have to work out who you need for what. I guide the entire process, keep the overview and remain your point of contact, also after the keys have been handed over.
